Gone is the dull, black user interface. Instead, you'll now see a shiny, transparent design that also includes some slick new animations -- so slick, in fact, that YouTube claims its new design is "slicker than a squirrel on waterskis" .
The transparent player also includes new floating controls that look like they're a part of the video itself and not overlaid on top.
Head to YouTube.com to check out the new design, which is now live for everyone. It will also show up in any embedded YouTube videos you see around the web.
